“Mum was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s about five years ago. She doesn’t really know who I am anymore.”

An estimated 800,000 people in the UK are living with dementia.

Terry takes her mum, May, to Knowsley Dementia Care Support Memory Lane. Funded by Comic Relief, it provides a range of activities and exercises for those with dementia in friendly, welcoming and familiar environment. It’s a vital service for those with dementia, and their carers.
