Why not meet Rachel and the Lawyers too?

What Annika did

For Red Nose Day 2013, 11-year-old Annika, from Fife, really used her head to raise an amazing £195.45.

With the help of her mum, Camilla, this young ‘hairo’ got sponsored to dye her locks a different colour (red included) for five days in a row.

“It’s not good that children have to drink dirty water with animal waste and other horrible things …everyone should have clean water.”

Why Annika did it

Apart from the chance to have different coloured hair every day, Annika got fundraising for Red Nose Day because some of the money raised goes to helping people who don’t have access to clean water.

“It’s not good that children have to drink dirty water with animal waste and other horrible things, and sometimes they have to walk miles and miles to get it.” Annika is busy planning something even more hair-tastic for Red Nose Day 2015!

£195 could help protect 65 children in Uganda from deadly waterborne diseases by giving them access to clean drinking water at their school.
